ABSTRACT: This research explored the impact of early childhood education on nutrition education among young children. The objectives were to evaluate the level of nutritional knowledge, identify effective educational practices, and assess the long-term benefits of early nutrition education. A survey design was used, justified by its efficiency in gathering detailed data from a diverse population. Purposive sampling was used to select 200 children from preschools in Oyo State, Nigeria. Findings indicated that children exposed to nutrition education programs had better knowledge of healthy eating habits and nutrition. Activities such as interactive cooking sessions, nutrition games, and healthy eating challenges were particularly effective. The study recommended that early childhood education curricula incorporate comprehensive nutrition education to foster healthy eating habits from an early age.
